Rest In Peace I Will Love You Forever.
Tears running down my face as I say see you later now you will be pain free and never forgotten as you have been my clown, ear nipping, water lover, kiss giving, secret keeper, soccer player, whelp nurse, teacher and fetch ball playing fool for 7.5 years I tried to keep you forever.
I thought I would have you much longer after fixing your tail and knee 4 years ago. We worked hard on your recovery so you could go back to normal or as normal as you could be. You surprised everyone at the vets office including me that you where going to be 100%. After all that ball needed to be kicked around the yard and you loved to show off your skills. You loved hearing the cheers, the oh look at her go but now I have to let you go. I can’t think of myself I have to do the right thing and think of you. I have to be brave as you have been for me. Its your time for me to show you the unconditional love that you have shown me. I know you will have your Mom (Libby), Grandma (London) and Auntie (Fiona) all waiting to welcome you home and they will keep you safe until we all can be together again and I promise we will be together again one day.
I know you will enjoy your wings and fly like a bird as you always watched those birds in the yard. I know you will have sun shine all the time to bath in.
I know you will be back for a visit here and there I just have to watch for you.
The sky was dark and cloudy but just before you took your last breath the clouds parted a circle of sunshine came over the van. I knew at that moment you where gone, got your wings and was off to see your mom (Libby).
My heart is breaking for you but at least your in no more pain.
Rest in peace my sweet baby girl, until we meet again. I will hold these hugs and kisses forever in my broken heart, as it’s not our last ones it’s just us just taking a break.

Up-date: January 16th, 2015
Lyric is now a Canadian Championship. This makes Lyric our third home-bred champion. We are so proud to announce that at 10 months of age. Our Lyric - MBPIB Lizona's Lyrical Legacy now has her CGN (Canine Good Neighbour) title to the end of her name. Lyric also has 3 best puppy in breed wins (with other puppies attending). We can not wait to see what she does as an adult. We are so proud of this Cole & Libby combo. |
Lyric is our beautiful girl from the 1st Cole & Libby breeding. Lyric was born: Dec 11th, 2012.
She came from a litter of 10 - 4 boys (2 fawn brindles & 2 fawns) & 6 girls (2 fawns & 4 fawn brindles).
Lyric is our third home-bred, true Canadian girl who loves the snow. Lyric seams to be following in her Mom & Dad's paw prints. Lyric is a very happy girl with a great temperament, and such a hoot to have around. When people come over or out in public, she loves the attention that is given from all. Lyric is learning that van rides lead to yummy treats from Tim Hortons, gas stations and going to other dog homes is lots of fun. We can't wait to get her out into the show ring as I'm sure she will put on a great show of look at me. Currently at 13 weeks weights 39lbs.

We are very proud of her and so look forward to all the good times to come.
We also believe this was another great combo of Mom & Dad & Grandparents and can really see the different characters in Lyric.
When tests results are done they will be posted here:
PRA clear by parentage, Cardiac, Cystinuria,
Eyes, Hips, Elbows, Patellar, Thyroid & VwD,
Coat Length DNA - Carrier, Degenerative Myelopathy DNA (DM) - Clear.
